Instructions to assist with Image Gallery automatic gallery creator


Multiple Uploads: Note at this time Firefox Browser only supports the manual method listed below. If you want to use Multiple Uploads you will have to use Internet Explorer. Multiple uploads allow you to browse to a directory of photographs on your hard drive and upload all of them directly into the gallery you choose. This is a great time saving feature if you intend working with large image galleries. The first time you use this feature Internet Explorer will require you to allow it to install 7 different active x and java components for it to work. If you don't wish to install these you will need to use the manual method below.

Manual Uploads: Although a little slower because you have to select the photos on your hard drive individually, then individually point them to their category. This method still allows multiple images to be selected and uploaded as a group but they are managed one at a time once they are uploaded to the "ALL" directory.

Use Image Upload (not Multiple Upload) and load all the images into the directory named "ALL". Then click the edit pencil icon next to each image on the right hand side. Choose categories then tick the category you wish to move the image into then click ok.
