There are two methods to handle images when using Plesk Sitebuilder.

• Automatic Image Gallery - The automated gallery component allows for the creation of  image galleries in a listed  library format (see our Gallery Sample Page) by using the automatic uploader and thumb nail creator which is incorporated into the Image Galley module. The software will upload and resize your images for you but if you have the skill you will get much better results by preparing and resizing images then uploading them with "Do Not Resize" selected. We have provided full instructions on our sub page on the left titled Using Image Gallery.
   
•  Manually Create & Insert Images - You will need to learn to do this if you wish to insert images into your normal web pages. The process is simple and as long as the images are of a high standard it will create a far superior image to that created in the Automatic Gallery so is the preferred method used by professional web designers. We will demonstrate some manual methods below.

Method 1/ Linked photograph - justified left - text wrap - 5 pixel horizontal spacing.

In this wedding example we opened the Image Properties box by clicking on the Yellow Image Icon above then browsed our hard drive by going to the bottom of the Image Properties box then uploading the selected file to the server. 

Note:  if the file is already on the server simply select the image as you don't need to upload it again unless for some reason you have improved it and want to overwrite it. We now resized it, then aligned it to the left.

We wanted the viewer to see a larger version so we went to the link tab and linked it back to the full sized original. This creates the blue hyperlink border which indicates to the viewer that the photograph has been linked either to a larger version of itself or to some other document or file. You can if you wish not link the photograph and just leave it at the size you choose which will then remove the blue link border. To create the wrap around photo effect that you can see in this image we have simply set the horizontal spacing to 5 pixels which slightly separates the text from the photograph.

At any time you can go back and adjust the photo settings by right mouse clicking the image and selecting Image Properties.

Method 2/ Photograph with no link - justified center - text above and below the image.

We have taken our wedding photograph and this time we are placing a paragraph of text above with the text justified to the left but we want our photograph larger than before but centered.

Once again we use the Image Properties box selected from the yellow image icon above, either upload or select an image file but this time we leave it at full size, align absolute middle with no spacing needed and to move the bottom text back to the left use the left justification icon above. Should the photo follow it to the left copy the photo to the clipboard, delete it, use the centre justification icon above to place the cursor in the centre of the page between your paragraph text then paste the image back in.
